ARTS EDUCATION
Arts Insights at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage offers free or low-cost educational opportunities presented as a complement to the outstanding performances we offer. These events are central to our efforts to broaden cultural participation through inviting, enriching, and accessible programming for people from diverse walks of life. Through five distinct initiatives, a new generation of audiences and artists become deeply aware of the value and transformative power of the arts.
Matinee Shows for Students invite students from throughout Los Angeles schools to incredible performances; Master Classes feature unique opportunities to learn from the finest in field; Open Rehearsals uniquely reveal the creative process; Lifelong Learning Events help define the cutting edge of contemporary culture while providing important contexts for art; and Family and Community Events broaden horizons while promoting shared cultural experiences. These offerings provide unparalleled access to world-class artist working across performance disciplines while stimulating cultural appreciation and deepening analytical abilities.
