SMC MUSIC

The Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center houses the acclaimed SMC Music Department. Here students can study an array of piano, voice, composition, instruments, guitar, theory, history, appreciation and performance classes. The Applied Music program, geared for Music Majors, is an integral part of the Music Department's offerings. As part of this comprehensive program, students, chosen by audition, are given private lessons for up to 4 semesters.

SMC ART GALLERY

The Pete and Susan Barrett Art Gallery features exhibitions of professional and student art work and photography. These exhibits change about ten times each year; admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
