FAMILY WORKSHOPS
Family Workshops welcome the whole family in learning and engaging in the arts together. An interactive and intergenerational experience that puts artists, parents and kids side by side to find the creativity in all of us.

July 23, 2017 & March 4, 2018– Family Dance Jam
August 6, 2017 & April 29, 2018 – Story Pirates

FAMILY CIRCLE
The Family Circle addresses the barriers that often prevent families from attending performances by providing free tickets, transportation, meals and educational activities for families to select programs throughout the season. We partner with local organizations such as the Community Corporation of Santa Monica and Virginia Avenue Park to connect a cross-section of families from our immediate community with the arts and one another.

BROAD FEST
Neighbors, Community and Fans...Broad Fest is back!

Sun, Sept 3, 2:00pm–7:00pm (FREE)

Broad Fest returns with an afternoon of music, food and interactive entertainment. The plaza will be lively with activities, booths, sounds and people of all ages who love the arts. Come hear an array of live musical performances intermixed with eclectic DJ grooves. Artists will include Shawn Amos, Tres Souls, Sadubas and more to be announced. Family shows kick off the day, then tango lessons and jazz sets lead us into the night.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from local café favorites. Complimentary bicycle valet parking will be available for those who bike to the festival.

Extend your night by attending The Crossroads Project: Rising Tide, a collaboration of science and the arts with climate physicist Dr. Robert Davies on The Broad Stage.

COME EARLY, STAY LATE
Join artists and local experts in pre-show conversations, post-show panel discussions, and Q&A’s that engage the imagination and intellect of learners of all ages. Lobby activities will also inspire discussion and allow patrons to engage with themes, ideas, and issues surrounding select performances.
